If you have previously had an article published in LAPIS, we will use the bio we have on file. You do not need to resubmit unless you would like us to update your bio. Maximum 440 characters (approx. 50–70 words) inclusive of author name. Please also include degrees, if you would like them to appear (e.g. Ph.D., Ed.D.).

Headshots must have a minimum resolution of 300 dpi to be printed. If the resolution is too low, we will not be able to include a headshot with your article. If you are unable to upload an image to this form, please email it as an attachment to [email protected]. Do not embed images into Word documents.

File must be .doc, .docx, .rtf, or .txt. Files should be minimally formatted (indents, italics, bolded, and underlined text are okay). Do not embed images — if you have graphics you'd like to include, simply include placeholders (e.g. "place graphic 1 about here").

Graphics should be kept to a minimum and only included if critical to the article. Depending on space, we may not be able to include graphics or may require the article to be shortened in order to do so. Graphics should be 300 dpi in order to print. Graphics are not required — LAPIS will select appropriate images for the article layout.

Use of any generative AI in preparing this submission must be disclosed, including the tool used and how it was used.
